About Reading and Children

When he was growing up, my nephew was a reluctant reader. The more his parents tried to entice him to read, the more unwilling he became.
I began to write stories for him, action/adventure stories that boys enjoy.
Now he loves to read.
My two books are aimed at the reluctant reader.
The first is The Hidden Chamber in the Great Sphinx which is set in Egypt and the hero finds an ancient supercomputer in the right paw of the Great Sphinx.
The other book The Underwater Pyramid in the Bermuda Triangle tells the story of the same hero finding an antimatter engine and Royal mummies inside the underwater pyramid.

I believe that the concept of making reading fun is why the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew series of books was so popular.
