N is for Sir Isaac Newton #atozchallenge

Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727) was an English physicist and mathematician. He was the co-developer of calculus. He developed a mathematical description description of gravity.

He wrote the book Principia Mathematica. He described the movement of comets, the tides, and developed a heliocentric model of the solar system which is accepted today.

  1. Hi,
Calculus was not one of my strong points in High School, and looking at Sir Isaac Newton's stern face, now I can understand why it was not my favourite subject. .-)
Yet, I am so happy you chose him. It brought back some funny memories with me and Mathematics.
