Really well-written ghost story with a realistic backdrop. Young couple Jason and Lynne give up city life for the slower pace of a small town. They buy an old house, sight unseen, and move in not expecting to find anything but a Mayberry lifestyle. Little do they know, their dream house is filled with the stuff of nightmares. Creepily and eerily, the author builds suspense and you feel the tension increase with each chapter. The protagonists are both charming and likable, and as the hauntings mount so does the reader's anxiety. The house holds layers of secrets that must be revealed in order to bring the tortured souls peace.This is an enjoyable read that could almost be a movie of the week. The writing is clear and crisp, descriptive and vivid. Great job. ~C.R.
